Nicky is an excellent trainer and comprehensively covered all the essential theory and practical aspects of first aid in an outdoor setting. Very useful and enjoyable too. I highly recommend this course with Nicky.

This Outdoor Pursuits course is excellent. It is run by a highly experienced nurse who also has a tremendous knowledge of first aid. Nicky is a superb teacher. She has a wonderful mix of professionalism and friendliness. She never made us feel that our questions were silly; in fact she encourages questions and gives very clear explanations. The practical element of the course was invaluable. Very varied, lifelike scenarios in the outdoors, allowing us to put the theory into practice. 20th June 2021

The practical course was excellent. In particular the scenarios, which although challenging, cleverly built on and consolidated previous learning as the day progressed. Course very relevant in content and the way Nicky taught it made it easy to understand and apply the theory to practice. Practical scenarios were outstanding and very realistic. Really gave you the feeling of being there in the moment! This helps immensely to identify priorities for treating casualties as you feel the adrenaline rush. Nicky clearly knew her subject and gave good tips and advice on how to improvise if there was no first aid equipment handy. The best part for me was the practicals. Each scenario Nicky gave feedback on how we had done, which was very useful and she kept taking us back to the assessment algorithm, which helped it sink in. At the end of the course I felt much more confident about assessing and prioritising casualties. I would highly recommend the course to anyone taking part in outdoor activities. 19-20th June 2021

I attended an excellent Community CPR course delivered by Nicky Credland of React Fast First Aid in October 2021 and can thoroughly recommend it. I was prompted to do this after a defibrillator was installed outside our local shop and I realised there was little point having one available to our community unless a few of us knew how to use it. The course was 3hrs with a mix of theory and practical, mainly practical. During the 3 hrs we learnt how to do adult, child and infant CPR and how to deal with choking, which if not sorted can lead to heart failure. Nicky also showed us how several different defibrillators worked so we would know what to expect if we needed to use one. Bottom line is that it was an excellent course. 12th October 2021

I attended one of React Fast First Aid's training courses and found it to be very well organised and excellently delivered. Nicky delivered a very informative 3 hour CPR/AED course to myself and my 12 yr old son and kept our engagement and focus throughout... no mean feat with regard to a boy hooked on tech! Hoping never to need the skills learned but glad to have had an opportunity to practice lifesaving techniques. Would highly recommend. 2nd November 2021.

I thoroughly enjoyed the first aid course and would recommend anyone, regardless of age, to give it a go. I came away feeling I had learned a valuable lesson that could potentially save a life. The hands on training on the equipment supplied made all the difference. Reading the techniques from a book is all well and good but actually practicing manually was an eye-opener. 2nd November 2021.

This was an enjoyable and informative day of training. The teaching was very engaging and involved the participants getting stuck in. There was an abundance of equipment to use and get familiar with, which I found very helpful.

Great outdoor first aid course, relevant for residential camps, appropriate material and well delivered. Good mix of classroom and outdoor learning. Practical hands on experience was very helpful. Course covered well with lots of laughs along the way making it much more accessible.

An excellent training day with Nicky. It was delivered with a mix of practical exercises and slides and was interesting and enjoyable. I felt way may confident at the end of the day than I ever have on other courses. I would highly recommend this First Aid training.

I attended an outdoor 1st Aid course based inside a cave. The day was really well organised with plenty of resources with some great challenging scenarios. The tempo was good with lots of opportunities for discussion and practical involvement. I personally loved it and would sign up again in a heartbeat.

I organised a 2 day outdoor first aid course for all our coaches at the club. Nicky was absolutely incredible. So knowledgeable but made it fun and a great environment to learn. Therefore we probably learned more in return. From initial enquiry to after the course communication was spot on. A big thank you from all of us.
